Y’all ready for the best night of the summer? Hands down, there’s no better place to see the best shows and experience your favorite performances quite like here at Texas Trust CU. Known for our concerts that rock the city day in and day out throughout the summer - and, known for our fair share of eclectic and off kilter performances, too! The T Trust CU is home to our favorite out of town mega artists coming in for their center stage shows and the indie local circuit tours that are our favorite sleeper cards. And when The 85 South Show Boys come this November for their hilarious 2025 Spin The Block Comedy Tour, Hitting the stage here on Saturday November 1st, the tour is hitting dozens of cities across the country as they dominante the comedy and podcast space all in one megatour. The boys will also be going to Landers Center in Southaven, Little Ceasar’s Arena in Detroit, Life Arena in South Carolina, Bridgestone in Nashville, Houston and Cincinnati, and of course - right here in Grand Prairie for all of our pleasure.
The 85 South Show got its early starts in the early 2000s - starting with comedy shows and djing at open mic events when they could at the Blue Frog Cantina. A few connections and radio shows later - and 85 South was born OFFICIALLY in 2018! The show is a culmination of comedy hosted by Clayton English hosting straight comedy and freestyle spit takes whenever the chance came up. Talking about popular topics and bringing in host comedian artists all the time - the platform grew to be one of the most powerful platforms for comedy, media, and interactive visual content. From BET guest shows to A list celebrity appearances from the black community - the shows are all unscripted, improv, and if one thing's for certain - nothing is too much to talk about for the 85 South crew. And while we’re in the crowd and they’re entertaining us on the stage - we’re so here for it.
