Silvestre Dangond was born and raised in Colombia. His love of music can be traced way back to his childhood, when he grew up in a family of musicians, leading him to take the path of the music industry. Having collaborated with an amateur accordion player, Ramon Lopez, Silvestre Dangond released his debut album, Tanto para Tí, in 2002. Later on, Silvestre Dangond was recognized for his multiple album releases and got his prestigious nomination in the Grammy Awards for Best Tropical Latin Album for his album Gente Valiente. With the international media finally recognizing the talent of the Vallenato guru, Silvestre Dangond will put on a US tour headlining his newest album, Ta Malo, consisting of 15 tracks that will put all the fans behind their backs.
