Rapper, composer, and music producer Jhayco was raised in Camden, New Jersey, but was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He developed a love for music at a very young age and wrote his first songs at the age of just 11. The rapper - once known as Jhay Cortez - began his musical career while still a youngster. At age 16, he began writing songs with reggaeton artists Zion & Lennox, and at age 18, he won his first Grammy for his contributions to Tito El Bambino's "El patrón: invencible" album.

Jhayco achieved new heights in 2018, after significantly contributing to the hugely popular "I Like It" with Cardi B, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin and later working with J Balvin, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, and Tainy on the infectiously catchy "I Can't Get Enough." With "Se Hace La Que No Me Conoce," Jhayco made a name for himself as a solo artist. A remix of the song, including J Balvin and Bad Bunny, peaked in the top ten of the Latin Billboard Hot 100 charts. Since then, Jhayco has developed into a reggaeton juggernaut and one of the most popular Latin performers of our time.

This year, he is headed on a tour, VIDA ROCKSTAR. The news of the tour follows the release of his songs "Mami Chula" with Quevedo, "Cuerpecito," and "Dákiti," "Tarot," and "No Me Conoce," which he performed with Bad Bunny during his headlining Coachella act in April. Jhayco is also anticipated to perform tracks from his album Timelezz, in support of which he went on tour in the previous spring. At the Coliseo in Puerto Rico, he began his journey.

“That was my biggest dream since I was a kid. I always said I didn’t want to die before doing El Coliseo, and I even mentioned it on ‘Kobe in L.A,'” he told Rolling Stone at the time. “This is what I’ve always wanted.”

The best Latino artist of the generation is coming live in your city - you don’t want to miss out on this. Catch Jhayco live as he makes his way to the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas on Sunday, the 8th of October, 2023 for an unforgettable night of awesome music!
