Celtic Woman at Texas Trust CU Theatre

This is certainly a unique performance. Plenty of the events that showcase Irish folklore feature male singers and dancers. That's obviously not the case here. The name of the group gives it away, but at the same time you realize that you're in for a much thoughtful and "deep" show than what you can expect from other Irish bands. Celtic Woman has all of the upbeat moments that you expect out of Irish dance shows, but you get a much more thoughtful performance, particularly when it comes to the vocals.

Teir Abhaile Riu is without a doubt one of Celtic Woman's most popular tracks. They've also got "You Raise Me Up" to make sure there's a song from them that you can actually spell correctly. This is one of those concerts, though, where the vibe outweighs the actual songs that they're going to be singing. If you want to transport yourself to Ireland without needing to catch a plane, this is the show that you'll want to attend. They'll be up there with some bagpipes and that undeniable Irish vibe. Even if it's not necessarily a dance show, you might feel your feet starting to shake and a need to do some tap dancing to ensure you really take in this show as it's meant to be.  

The Texas Trust CU Theatre 

This is one of the best venues for a show like this. If you're looking for extra leg room, find a spot in the front rows of one of the different levels. If you can locate a seat in one of those sections and, on top of that, have it be right in the middle of the theater, you might have the best view of the show. Plus, these spots tend to be closer to food and drink options! That's another benefit that you can get behind.
