The annual summer tour is back baby, 311 hit the road with some absolutely massive support acts for 2024. Hitting Cincinnati, Ohio in July and will be stopping throughout the U.S.A., including in Chicago, Boston, Raleigh, Tampa, Houston and Costa Mesa, before finally ending the tour up in Redmond, Washington in August. 311 will be joined along the way by special guests AWOLNATION and NEON TREES.
Having played a staggering over 2000 shows across North America, and another 27 countries, to date, 311 is one of the few remaining original lineup bands alongside iconic acts like U2 and RADIOHEAD. Formed, way, way back, in 1990 by guitarist and lead singer Nick Hexum, guitarist Tim Mahoney, singer and DJ SA Martinez, bassist P-Nut, and drummer Chad Sexton.
311 are famed for their unique mixing of rock, rap, reggae and funk music into this weirdly enjoyable Alt-rock, that turned out to be wildly entertaining, and provide an exceptional live show experience, that you just have to catch for yourself! Previous years have brought some absolutely astonishing support bands with the likes of THE OFFSPRING, Snoop Dogg, SUBLIME WITH ROME, CYPRESS HILL, SLIGHTLY STOOPID, DIRTY HEADS, THE ROOTS, Matisyahu and Ziggy Marley, all having played with the band.
Over the last almost 3 and a half decades, 311 have produced 13 studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, three DVDs and a box set. Selling over nine million records in the U.S., of which ten albums reached the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, and from those albums, 9 singles made the Top 10 on Billboard's Alternative Radio chart, including the 3 number 1 singles: "Down", "Love Song" and "Don't Tread On Me".
The Pop-rock come New-wave band Neon Trees came out of Provo, Utah, all the way back in 2005. They broke into the mainstream with their 2010 single, "Animal", hitting number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Alternative Songs chart.
