Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie
TajMo is bringing their critically acclaimed Room On The Porch Tour 2026 to the Texas Trust CU theatre in Grand Prairie on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026. The blues legends will play a night of all original blues music as they bring to life their debut album "Room on the Porch" as well as new material from their upcoming follow up release.
Blues legends Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' are to hit the road for their second tour across the country's finest venues in support of their second joint album release. Room On The Porch Tour 2026 supports their second tour of top venues across the country in support of their highly anticipated second release following their critically acclaimed and LEGENDARY debut album "Room on the Porch" by TajMo.

The legendary Blues duo of TajMo, made up of blues legends Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' are touring in support of their second joint tour and their latest album "Room On The Porch". This will be a show with each man performing his own individual music catalog. With both men having their own dedicated fan bases, you can bet the house down that the Texas Trust CU Theater in Grand Prairie will be packed to the rafters with Blues fans from all over the country.
Taj Mahal is performing as TajMo with Keb' Mo' on his epic blues tour for his new album "Room on the Porch". This legendary bluesman brings over 50 years of blues experience to the Texas stages and will be playing his classic blues songs such as "Statesboro Blues", "Corinna", "She Caught the Katy" and more from "Room on the Porch" as well as some surprises along the way. A 5 time Grammy winner and Blues Hall of Fame inductee TajMo brings the traditional blues to the new generation and incorporates other styles such as world music in his extensive catalog of songs. He has collaborated with many musicians of different genres over the years and is truly a one of a kind bluesman.
Keb' Mo' is one of the leading exponents of modern blues today. He can be found touring across the country in support of his recent collaborative album with TajMo's Taj Mahal, "Room on the Porch". Born in Los Angeles, California, Kevin Moore, known to his legion of fans as Keb' Mo' started playing the guitar at the age of 13. As a teenager, he played with Kenny Edwards of The Emrys as well as with The Three 2 Many (Chris Janklewicz and Ed Valtierrez, also of The Emrys) before forming Keb' Mo' Band in 1980. Moore wrote the song "Dangerous Mood" and his version won the 1998 Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album. He has been awarded 14 Blues Foundation Awards and the Americana Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist. His acoustic style of playing and singing is often found using a Gibson acoustic and a Martin acoustic as well as being joined on tour by Mike Marcello on second guitar and Jason Hughes on drums. Keb' Mo' is also known to be joined on stage by fellow songwriter Willie Nelson on occasion as well as having collaborated with many other top musicians including the late John Lee Hooker and the legendary, Bonnie Raitt.
The venue for the TajMo show is the Texas Trust CU theater at Grand Prairie. The theater is an indoor venue with 6,350 seats arranged in an orchestra and balcony configuration. The theater also has several luxury suites complete with private entrances to the suite. In addition to the stage on which the performers will be playing there are concessions on multiple levels serving a variety of food, beverages and merchandise. The theater is located at 1001 Texas Trust Way in Grand Prairie, Texas. It is immediately adjacent to the Lone Star Park horse racing facility. From I-30 take the Belt Line Road exit and proceed north for approximately half a mile. The theater will be on the left. Two hours prior to the performance time, parking lots surrounding the venue will open to allow patrons to park and make their way to the venue. Parking will be $25.00 per vehicle for general parking and $50.00 per vehicle for VIP/suite parking. Parking for patrons with disabilities will be available and will require a state-issued disabled parking permit. No tailgating or overnight parking will be allowed. Parking will be very easy to follow and organize for all patrons attending the show.
