Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie
Reik is back on the road in the US after a very successful Panorama tour in 2024 and 2025. This year, they haven't even bothered to name the tour, but they're going to be playing at the Texas Trust CU Theatre on Thursday, 26th March 2026. The band has found new life collaborating with reggeton superstars and even adding some regional Mexican tunes to their tracks, but at their core, they're still the teen love boys that you grew up with.
On this 2026 tour, they're actually going to be promoting a new album, TQ+. Tracks from this release are just trickling in as we speak. "Viernes" was the first song from this new album that saw the light of day. The band from Guadalajara has done something that a lot of their contemporaries in the Mexican pop scene weren't able to do. That is basically to survive! The genre is going through some rough times south of the border, and yet Reik are back on the road in the US. How do they do it? As mentioned, they've been willing to collaborate with the likes of Maluma and even Carin Leon on the Mexican regional side, on top of a ton of other bands and performers. It allows them to craft a show that can take the audience in many different directions. That's certainly not something they had in their back pocket earlier in their career.
You're essentially in line to see all of them, and we're trying to tread carefully here to make sure that we don't give away too many spoilers. However, what this band has done in the past is fill a part of the show with tracks from their romantic early years, like "Yo Quisiera" or "Noviembre Sin Ti." Then they move into some of the more upbeat songs in their music library. That's where you'll find "Indecisio" and "Amigos Con Derecho." Of course, they gotta make room for the songs from their new album. It's going to be really interesting to see how they put this concert together, just know that you're in line to hear the very best from all eras of Reik music!
Keep in mind that the front rows of the pit area are where you want to be if you're looking to jump up and down all night. One of the coolest things about this venue is that the rows are placed at the perfect distance from each other to pretty much guarantee people won't be blocking your view. Another thing to point out is that, at least at the time of writing, no upper-level seats are available. That could change if tickets start selling out fast!
