Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie
Pandora and Flans will once again bring their talents to Grand Prairie's Texas Trust CU Theatre. At this point, the presence of these two groups has become almost an annual occurrence. In 2026, the ladies will be taking over this venue on Thursday, February 12th, to bring fans all of their greatest hits from the 80s and 90s in this Inesperado Tour. Flans are down to two members with Ivonne announcing her retirement. But Ilse and Mimi are more than ready to bring out those wacky hair styles and upbeat music that made the group famous.
With Pandora, you get incredible, almost regal renditions from the sisters and Fernanda. Truth be told, those moments when all five of them take the stage together are the ones that fans who've seen the show seem to recall the most. All this to say, that Thursday, February 12th is shaping up to be an iconic night with two of the best groups from the 80s and 90s in Spanish pop. This is your chance to step back in time and imagine you're entering a Mexican "disco" in the 80s and 90s. Maybe if you were still living across the border in that era, you got a chance to catch Pandora or Flans in a palenque at a local fair. There's no question that they were the two "It" female groups of that moment in time. It's quite a treat for them to tour together now. Fans in North Texas really love their Flans and Pandora concerts, and that's why the five ladies (Ivonne retired from Flans in 2019) are back in Grand Prairie as part of their Inesperado Tour.
When two groups co-headline, the show is usually split right down the middle. You'll have the Pandora set, where they'll come on stage and sing "Como Te Va Mi Amor" or "Con Tu Amor." The romance will fade just a little bit to make way for the upbeat tracks that Flans bring to the table. The crowd's going to go wild when the first notes of "Bazar" fill the room. Then we might move on to something like "Timido." During the time that the two groups have been on tour together, they've played songs like "Las Mil y Una Noches" from Flans with all five women on stage.
