bag policy

As a general rule, bags are not permitted in the Texas Trust CU Theatre. An exception may be made for medical bags, diaper bags, and small clutches or purses. Specifically, guests may not take in the following:

• Any backpacks
• Purses larger than a small clutch
• Cases for binoculars, cameras, or laptops
• Fanny packs
• Any kind of luggage or portable storage.

Prohibited items at The Texas Trust CU Theatre

In addition to bag restrictions, there is a list of prohibited items at the Texas Trust CU Theatre. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Commercial or flash photography equipment
• Audio or visual recording devices
• Personal food and beverage (exceptions may be made for medical or religious needs)
• Weapons
• Signs
• Flags
• Banners
• Posters
• Pamphlets
• Tripods
• Laser pointers
• Alcohol
• Illegal drugs
• Noise-making devices
• Fireworks
• Skateboards/ Rollerblades
• Cans or bottles.

Cashless policy

The Texas Trust CU Theatre — like many prominent venues — operates on a cashless basis. To make your trip as easy as possible, please bring a credit card, debit card, or mobile payment option.

alcohol policy

Guests may not bring outside alcohol to shows at Texas Trust CU Theatre. Once inside, there are many outlets that sell alcoholic beverages, subject to state laws and per-person limits (typically two drinks per person per sale.)

Alcoholic beverages must be consumed in a responsible manner. If this is not the case, the management reserves the right to intervene with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest in a prompt and safe manner.

Smoking policy

All smoking, including vaping, is prohibited inside the Texas Trust CU Theatre. At most shows, you will find directions to dedicated outside smoking areas for your convenience.

child policy

Children are welcome at the Texas Trust CU Theatre, especially at family shows. Children one-year-old or less can sit on a parent’s lap for free. Older children need their own tickets and seats. Due to space restrictions, strollers are not allowed into the venue.

service animals policy

Guests may not bring pets or emotional support animals to shows at Texas Trust CU Theatre. However, service animals on a leash or harness may accompany their owner into the venue.

Security Policy

On arrival, all guests must pass through a metal detector with a visual bag inspection by security personnel. A bag policy is also in place, with several items prohibited at the venue.

Any guests seen to be engaging in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the stage will be immediately ejected from the venue.
