Considered by many to be a piano virtuoso, Balázs Havasi is one of those artists who found their passion early in life. The Hungarian artist started playing piano at the early age of four. This early discovery of his inclination to music led him to study and excel in the music school he went to. Thus, it was not a surprise as he achieved significant success in his years at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, where he won first prize at a piano competition of the Yamaha Foundation of Europe.

In 2000, he was signed to a recording company thanks to his early success as a music student. Havasi decided to start his own record label after releasing two soundtrack albums through the record company. He was able to release four solo piano albums (RED, Piano, Seven, and Infinity) between 2005 and 2008. This decision to release albums under his own label proved to be a brilliant move, as the albums met significant success. For fans of instrumental music, Havasi became a household name thanks to these albums. His formidable presence was quickly established by his ability to combine classical piano pieces with modern sounds skillfully. He collaborated with some of the biggest names in music after selling out venues in Hungary and many other countries.

One of these collaborations led to the birth of the Havasi Symphonic Production in 2009. He met musical producer Csaba Marjai at a concert in Dubai, and they came up with the symphonic production, which debuted in 2009 at the Grand Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Music. The show included around a hundred performers, including the Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra, the Budapest Academic Choir Society, and about twenty international soloists. To say that the show was a massive success would be an understatement. It was also a personal triumph for the piano prodigy as he was recorded to shatter the world record of the highest number of times hitting the same piano within a single minute.

Over the years, the Havasi Symphonic Production has performed in many venues worldwide and released several albums, both of new materials and live performances. Eleven of these albums have been certified platinum. The Havasi Symphonic album was nominated for the "Domestic Contemporary Classical Music Album of the Year" award by the Association of Hungarian Record Companies.

This 2024, the hypnotic and mesmerizing music of Havasi and his symphonic orchestra will be embarking on another tour in North America. You can catch his performance this February 14, Valentine's Day, at the Texas Trust CU Theatre. This show would be a perfect Valentine date in this side of Dallas. Get your tickets now and prepare to be awed by the one and only Havasi.
