Drag duo Trixie & Katya comes to Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on Friday 17th February 2023 (Rescheduled from Tuesday 30th August 2022) as part of their series of live performances across the U.S that begin on 16th April. This will be their first joint live event, and their fans are hugely anticipating the occasion. The duo aims to present their newly scripted satire, inspired by the 90’s comedy routines. Influences include Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Crossroads and To Wong Foo. The Trixie & Katya live tour will conclude with a performance at the Youtube Theatre in Los Angeles on 12th October 2022. It's been a year since Trixie & Katya have occupied our digital screens but fans can finally see the duo performing live. As two of the most talented women take the stage, fans can expect plenty of musical numbers, incredible comic timings and some dazzling sets all around. The live series is set to redefine the world of drag, theatre and art. Trixie & Katya have also co-authored a self-help book, "Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood". The book came out in 2020 and became a best-seller on the New York Times.
The two artists have long worked together on famous shows such as UNHhhh and Viceland's The Trixie and Katya show, and it will be a unique experience to see them performing live. Their off-stage chemistry is terrific, but sharing the stage could be the next level. Both of them have been on tours before, with Mattel traveling with rock-inspired tours and Katya touring on her comedy-musical hybrid, Help Me. However, their coming together is a great occasion and promises to be one of the most significant events of 2022.
